The comic and musical soul of 1930s Harlem is showcased in this revue that is considered by many to be one of Broadway’s most well-crafted shows, said Abby Eddy, director of marketing for Purdue Convocations.

She said the show mixes sassy and sultry moments with classic tunes including “Ain’t Misbehavin,'” “Honeysuckle Rose” and “Your Feets Too Big,” composed by swing jazz composer and pianist Fats Waller. Author and director Richard Maltby Jr. also recreated his original Tony Award-winning direction for this tour.
