Holiday Hoopla offers inspiration, shopping for Greater Lafayette women

LAFAYETTE, Ind. –– Greater Lafayette businesses will join HELEN, Inc. and University Plaza for “Holiday Hoopla” on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University Plaza Hotel in West Lafayette.

The event includes 30-minute programs with local speakers, shopping with local stores and vendors, a keynote luncheon and a special finale to wrap up the day.

Gifts for everyone on your holiday list will be available at this one-stop, easy-shopping destination. More than 30 vendors will have unique gifts and holiday items at their booths ready to fill your shopping bags.

A keynote luncheon will be held at noon featuring authors Diana Holman and Ginger Pape. From Washington D.C., these two entrepreneurs wrote “Repotting: 10 Steps for Redesigning Your Life,” a book that helps guide you through the process of making a change in your life. If you feel like you could use a change, these two speakers will help motivate you to take the necessary steps. Sponsored by Coldwell Banker Shook, the luncheon features an executive salad buffet, desserts and beverages. Reservations must be made in advance.

At 3:15 p.m., a grand finale will be presented by Evan Todd Salon & Day Spa. The fashion beauty show is free to everyone attending the Hoopla.

Cost to attend the Holiday Hoopla is $5 per person at the door. Advance tickets for the keynote luncheon are $30 per person and include admission to all Hoopla activities.
