Heywood Banks returns to Long Center for 20th anniversary performance

Heywood BanksLAFAYETTE, Ind. — Family-friendly funny man, Heywood Banks makes his 20th anniversary appearance at the Long Center in Downtown Lafayette on January 16, 2010 at 8:00pm.

Banks, who will have his guitar, his toaster, his fly-eyes and other wacky props, has delighted sell-out crowds on every visit. His comedy can best be described as stream of consciousness, and includes numerous silly ditties and his (sometimes, literally) off-the-cuff comments on life, show biz and one particular garden utensil.

Good seats are still available by calling the Long Center at 765-742-5664 or at the Long Center’s website at www.LongCenterTheater.com. Tickets can also be bought at the Long Center office in the St. John Pavilion, 111 N. 6th Street in Lafayette.
