Wacky Wednesday Senior Movie Days return March 9

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs, Clarian Health Plans, Hippensteel Funeral Service & Crematory and Rosewalk Commons will present the movie Eat Pray Love when “Wacky Wednesday” Senior Movie Days resume for 2011 on Wednesday, March 9th.

A breakfast snack from Golden Corral and Rosewalk Village will be offered at 9:00a, and the movie begins at 9:30a. The cost for the movie and snack is just $1.

This special senior movie day designed for individuals age 55 and over will continue through October 2011 on the second Wednesday of each month at the East Side 9 Movie Theater on Farabee Drive off of State Road 26 East in Lafayette. Eat Pray Love is a drama/romance that takes Liz Gilbert (played by Julia Roberts) on a quest to discover the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. It is rated PG-13 and was released in 2010.

At this first “Wacky Wednesday” for the year, attendees will also enjoy food samples from Mid-Land meals in celebration of Nutrition Awareness Month. Mid-Land Meals provides meals at congregate meal sites and through home delivery.
