| Event: | Science Cafe |
| Description: | Science Cafes are an opportunity to have an informal discussion about science. The discussions are just that. This isn't a lecture. Everyone can participate, ask questions and give their opinions. The talks are non-technical, so they should be understandable to a general audience of all backgrounds. This event will feature Dr. Brian Dilkes, assistant professor of horticulture at Purdue, who will discuss using plant genetics to save Indiana's mint crops. The event is free. There will be trivia prizes and free mint tea. |
