The food was decent. The only problem was our waiter, we think his name was Rick, seemed indifferent and hardly paid any attention to us. He verged on being downright rude. Why would a place as nice as this hire a person like that to serve? Pitiful.

Can’t beat the patio and sushi deals; however, the service needs to improve. Don’t be suprised if it takes 20 minutes before a server approaches your table.

Today, violence against women and girls is entrenched in every society. Worldwide, at least one of every three women has faced some form of physical or psychological repression, most notably through sex trafficking, domestic abuse, sexual assault, honor killings, female genital mutilation, child marriage, emotional and verbal abuse, and other forms of violence. The food was OK. The service was not good. I too understand that sushi takes a while, but drinks and a check at the end of the night? Also it was cold enough in the building I had to wear a coat the entire time.

I am a lifelong fan of yours and almost finished my latest book.
‘STROKES OF GENIUS’ -The JEWISH contribution to 20th Century Music.
I have just read of Jack Nimitz passing. My sincere condolences to you Med. My book features all the major classical, film,jazz and popular musicians/songwriters of Jewish descent. (over 800 in all).
of course I feature Lou Levy, awhile ago Terry Gibbs sent a list of Jewish musicians for inclusion including Jack Nimitz !
Could I ask you Med if you believe Jack JEWISH ?
I certainly don’t want to exclude Jack in this vital book if he was?
I greatly look forward to your reply !

The decor was fabulous, not often found in Lafayette.
It was a beautiful night to sit on the patio with friends. I ordered the crab rangoon I believe there were 5 on the plate for $10.00, and were cold in the middle and not worth the money at all. My friend ordered beef lettuce wraps- what a mess, she ate one and left it. No one was impressed, but more like “depressed” as we were all starving and ate only the fries. The waitress never came back to check to see if our food was ok. Didn’t refill waters, didn’t care that we didn’t want boxes to take the crap home in…we made our donation and we won’t be back. When are restaurants going to pay attention to full returned plates? Find staff that will work for the tips? I’m in the field myself and would never treat a guest like we were treated. I tip very well when I am taken care of…get a clue.

We love playing at Hunter’s Pub Down Under! We were greeted wonderfully by the staff and the patrons were very responsive to our sound (which is pretty unique). We will be glad to play @ Hunter’s anytime! This is a “must visit” place if you’re in Lafayette.
