LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Tippecanoe County Commissioners in conjunction with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff, Emergency Management Director and Tippecanoe Highway Department Superintendent have issued a LEVEL 3 “Hazardous Travel Watch” for Tippecanoe County roadways through 8 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16).
This does not prohibit travel, but recommends caution. It also asks that the public makes an effort to not park in a way that interferes with snow removal. Level 3 is the least restrictive.
Conditions will continue to be monitored to determine if the advisory level needs to be modified. Currently the level 3 advisory will expire at 8 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16).
I believe level 1 is like a yellow light- be careful, use caution
Level 2- Necessary travel only ( work, to get medication, groceries)
Level 3- No travel except emergency personnel
could you please tell me what each of the followings mean?
1.what is a level 1 advisory?
2.what is a level 2 advisory?
3.what is a level 3 advisory? travel not prohibited but caution is recomended.I found this on your web but couldnt find a 1 and 2 advisory. Thank you so much for your help.
