LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health will celebrate its third birthday with a baby fashion show fundraiser and open house on Sunday, May 3.
UPDATE: The baby show fundraiser and open house for the Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health originally scheduled for Sunday, May 3 has been postponed indefinitely. Refunds will be provided to those who have purchased tickets.
The fashion show will feature infants’ and toddlers’ clothing provided by JC Penney’s at Tippecanoe Mall and Two Tulips, 846 Main St. in Lafayette. Proceeds from this event will support the services at the Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health, 509 North St. in Lafayette.

The fashion show will start at 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 404 N. 6th St. in Lafayette. Cost for this event is $20 for families. Following the event, a reception and tours of the clinic will be available.
State representative Sheila Klinker and Seth Conley, co-anchor of News Channel 18 This Morning, will serve as emcees of the event.
Tickets may be purchased at the door or at the church office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays and from 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays. For more information or tickets, please call (765) 742-1288.
The clinic is operated by the Purdue University School of Nursing and receives support from various community groups and organizations, such as Trinity UMC, which donates the utilities and the building that houses the clinic.
In 2008, the clinic provided care for more than 600 patients involving more than 1,800 patient visits, parent education, mentoring, growth and developmental assessment, mental health services and health supervision for children are available at the clinic for children from birth to 21 years of age.
