Area IV Agency to host Legislative Breakfast

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs will host a Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, November 9th from 8-9 a.m. at their Lafayette Office, 660 N. 36th Street.  Legislators will be on hand to hear from their constituents regarding items on the State agenda this fall.  Topics on the Aging and In-Home Services side will include: funding the CHOICE Program at or above current levels; providing immediate access to Medicaid Waivers for home and community-based services; and supporting Indiana’s Aged and Disabled Resource Centers (ADRCs) to help consumers consider options for long-term care needs.  On the Community Action side, one topic will be unemployment compensation for certain workers.
