Lafayette Sports Center names Eufracio new Soccer Leagues Director

LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Lafayette Sports Center has named Jorge Eufracio its Soccer Leagues Director. The move comes as the center prepares for its inaugural soccer session in late October.

"We [are] poised to provide quality soccer experience to our members and this promises to be a breakout out year in terms of participation and naming a Leagues Director propels us to that goal," Shek Borkowski, Lafayette Sports Center's managing partner said.

As leagues director, Eufracio will oversee all details of administering soccer competitions at Lafayette Sports Center including managing team and player registration, statistics and referee assignments.

"Jorge is a well known and respected soccer person, he's a people person and he's a hard worker with a track record that speaks for itself. What impressed me most - he's a person that is committed to the success of the Lafayette area youth and adult soccer."

Eufracio spent the past eight seasons as the head coach for the Lafayette Veracruz men's team. Heąs been involved in coaching for the last twelve years.

"Very soon, you'll see some very exciting soccer efforts. I'm very excited by the vision Jorge has casted for promoting the facility, our leagues and the sport of soccer," Borkowski said.
