Purdue Vet clinic offering free dog weight check in February

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — During the month of February, anyone is eligible to bring their dog for a free weight assessment at the Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s Small Animal Community Practice Clinic.

As part of National Canine Weight Check, dog owners also will receive a voucher to be mailed in for a free thermal blanket compliments of Pfizer Animal Health.

The dog will be weighed and his/her body condition score will be assessed by students or staff of the clinic, who will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday and from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday.
