WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A new program on Sunday (April 13) at Purdue University will offer incoming freshmen and their parents a chance to learn about life in fraternities and sororities.
The first Sneak Peek will take place at 2 p.m. in the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall. It is free and open to incoming freshmen and their parents.
The event is designed to offer information about sorority and fraternity life as well as explain the recruitment process.
Following the welcome session that will cover Purdue’s tradition of fraternity and sorority life, there will be break-out sessions for the governing councils: the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Panhellenic Association. Attendees will have the chance to meet members of the organizations and ask questions.
The Panhellenic Association also will provide a tour of a formal chapter house and a continuous chapter meeting room after the welcome session.
