OXFORD, Ohio — The No. 16 Purdue men’s swimming and diving team picked up their first win of the season last night, defeating the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks 187-113. The Boilermakers won 12 of 16 events to go on to the victory.

Chris Pfaff won two individual and one relay event versus Miami (Ohio) last night.
The Boilermakers went on to sweep the diving events, with David Colturi posting a season-high 351.05 to win the 1-meter.
The team of Chris Pfaff, Aaron Koger, Kyle House and Ben Wachtel picked up a win in the 400 medley relay. Their time of 3:25.78 is the fastest swam by a Purdue team in that event this season.
Koger was also victorious in the 100 and 200 breast, swimming a 56.74 and a 2:03.61, respectively.
Pfaff also pulled triple duty, winning the 100 back in 51.30 and the 200 back in 1:54.52.
Ben Wachtel, Gage Barry, Ben Roscoe and House finished things off with a win in the 400 free relay, posting a 3:08.78 to secure the victory for Purdue.
The No. 16 Boilermakers (1-0) are back in action next weekend when they travel to Northwestern on Friday and Notre Dame on Saturday. The meet in Evanston starts at 6 p.m. ET, while things kick off in South Bend at 2 p.m. ET.
