Tippecanoe County Council on Aging / Senior Center of Tippecanoe
The mission of the Tippecanoe County Council on Aging is to provide facilities, programs and services for and with active older adults to assist them in finding the highest quality of life that includes good health, social interaction with others of all ages, access to needed goods and services, and a safe living environment that encourages and increases their independence in their community.

Their vision is for older adults to lead healthy, productive lives and have meaningful involvement in a community that views aging as positive, natural and purposeful. This healthy lifestyle encourages the expansion of interests and activities and maintenance of relationships as valuable keys to fulfillment.

Hanna Community Center
The mission of Hanna Community Council, which preserves the heritage of Lafayette's black community, is to provide a gathering place, celebrate cultural differences, and provide social services that improve the quality of life.

The Seniors Division of the Hanna Community Center has programs that are provided to residents of the Hanna neighborhood and Tippecanoe County who are a minimum of 60 years old and/or disabled, allowing the participants to remain active, independent and healthy while preventing social isolation. 243 registered persons participate with a daily average attendance of 30.
