The Black Sparrow pub is snuggled in the heart of Downtown Lafayette on Main Street, between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Parking is only available on the street or in a nearby parking garage, but it’s a quick walk from the parking decks or from the pedestrian bridge from West Lafayette, and it’s less than a block from the Tippecanoe County Courthouse.
This establishment is 21 and over all the time, so plan to leave the kids at home.
If you’re staying at one of the Downtown area hotels, The Black Sparrow is literally just across the Wabash River via the pedestrian bridge from the Hilton Garden Inn in West Lafayette, and only a few quick blocks from the Holiday Inn City Center Select on 5th and South Streets in Lafayette.

The smoke really isn’t bad.
Love the bohemian atmosphere and some of their drinks. HATE the smoking!
A must visit for anyone from out of town. A regular visit to anyone from around town. Be here soon! Great food, awesome beer selection and really incredible revolving cocktail menu. Plus, the DJs here are top notch. Try the Soul Stewards for a night of dancing and complete mayhem! Too cool.
Just made my first visit. Unique food menu. Cool Decor. Very knowledgable bartender and an unbelievable selection of draft beer. Not the Macro Brews and high end imports most places push. Excellent Craft Brews with many seasonals and High Hop content Ales. If you are looking for high quality Beers and Ales this is a must for you to check out.
This food is real. Nothing out of a box. Even the pizza crust is homeade. How refreshing in the land of chain restaurants.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Cool vibe, great drinks, really good food! Try the hummus, goat cheese, or one of the pizza rusticas.
