The Pub is a long standing Purdue tradition, and if you happen to go on a game night/weekend, expect it to be very crowded. The Pub is owned by the same people who own Harry’s on campus (you may recognize the slogan on the t-shirts the waitresses wear). The food is your standard bar fare, but it is good. The decor reminds me of a basement finished to be a bar circa 1970, but that could just be me. Overall, it’s friendly and very much a fun place to be to watch Purdue basketball games. (You may not want to show your face if you’re an IU fan, though). There’s ample parking out back, and it’s walkable from numerous apartment buildings and from downtown Lafayette.

Address: 407 Union Street, Lafayette, Indiana 47903 (map)

Expect to Spend: $
Reservations: Not even sure if they accept reservations, actually.

In addition to the normal bar food, we love the pubs fish, chicken and seafood choices. Nearly all sauces and dressings are made in the kitchen which adds to the non-typical Lafayette dining experience. Definitely a large enough menu variety to frequent the place and enjoy your meal each time. Also fairly priced.
