Danny Weiss, Emily Sledge to perform at Lafayette Farmers Market


LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Danny Weiss, local saxophonist and clarinetist, will be performing on Saturday, July 11 from 7:30a to 9:30a at the Lafayette Farmers Market in Downtown Lafayette, Indiana. Emily Sledge will also be performing from 10:00a to 12:00 noon.

In addition to the live musical entertainment, the Farmers Market is currently featuring a variety of fresh, locally grown products including blueberries, green beans, kettle corn, meats, free range farm fresh eggs, flowers, and honey. Local vendors offering dried herbs, baked goods, arts and crafts are also available at selected times during the 2009 Market season which runs through the end of October.

The Lafayette Farmers Market, managed by the Downtown Development Council of Greater Lafayette Commerce, will be open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:30a – 12:30p in Downtown Lafayette on Fifth Street between Main and Columbia Streets. The market will also be open on Thursdays from 3:00p – 6:30p from June 4 through August 13 in the Dauch Alumni Center Parking Lot, 403 W. Wood Street on Purdue University campus. On Thursdays, the market will move back to Downtown Lafayette from August 20 through the end of October with hours of 4:00p-7:00p.

In addition, the Sagamore West Farmers Market will be in operation on Wednesdays from May 6 through October 28.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Danny Weiss, local saxophonist and clarinetist, will be performing on Saturday, September 13 from 8-10 am at the Lafayette Farmers’ Market. The Lafayette Irish Dancers will also be performing two half-hour sets between 10:30-11:30 am.

Squash, fall flowers, honey, maple syrup, Traders Point Certified Organic Whole Milk, Fair Oaks Cheeses, gourmet pet treats, meats, kettle corn, free range farm fresh eggs, herbs, baked goods, and arts/crafts are among the products now available at the Market.

The Market, managed by the Downtown Development Council of the Lafayette-West Lafayette Development Corporation, is open on Tuesdays from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, Thursdays from 4-7 pm, and Saturdays from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm through October. Fruits, vegetables, honey, maple syrup, Traders Point Certified Organic Whole Milk, Fair Oaks Cheeses, perennial flowering transplants, gourmet pet treats, meats, kettle corn, free range farm fresh eggs, herbs, baked goods, and arts/crafts are among the products now available at the Market.

The Market, managed by the Downtown Development Council of the Lafayette-West Lafayette Development Corporation, is open on Tuesdays from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, Thursdays from 4-7 pm, and Saturdays from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm through October.
