St. Boniface to hold third annual GermanFest

]]> LAFAYETTE, IN. — St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette, Indiana will hold its third annual GermanFest celebration on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 9th and Ferry streets in downtown Lafayette.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and admission is free. There will be activities for all ages, including authentic German food, carnival rides, midway games, bingo, black jack, laser tag, as well as a beer and wine garden. This year’s GermanFest will also feature live music by Polka Boy, a German Idol lip sync contest and a $10,000 raffle. The deadline to enter the German idol lip sync contest is September 6, 2008. To enter online, go to www.stbonifacegermanfest.org. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

GermanFest is a fund raiser for St. Boniface Catholic Church. All event proceeds will go fund church renovation projects.
