PEFCU offers Elder Care seminar, May 22


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –– PEFCU Trust and Financial Center, located at Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union, is offering a no-cost, no-obligation “Elder Care” seminar at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 22, at the Lafayette Country Club located at 1500 South 9th St., in Lafayette, Indiana.

The seminar is designed to answer questions for those who are retired, planning retirement, or helping a retired parent. The presenter is local expert Jay Seeger, attorney for Seeger, Hodson & Forbes.

Attendees will learn:

  • Asset Protection Planning
  • POAs, Living Wills and Living Trusts
  • Long-Term Care Insurance Options
  • Estate Planning, including Wills and Trusts

Association of Fundraising Professionals Hosts Lunch, Program Feb 7


LAFAYETTE, IND. – The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) will host a February 7 lunch and program entitled, “Go for the Gold! How to Raise funds When You Know the 10 Donor Types” at Lafayette
Country Club in Lafayette. Learn how to identify the 10 specific types of donors and why people really give. The workshop is appropriate for development personnel, executive directors and volunteer members of boards of directors of nonprofit organizations and their development committees.

Guest speaker will be Michael Laudick, Laudick/Brown & Associates. Deadline for paid registration is Tuesday, February 5, 2008. The cost of the workshop and lunch is $12 per person for AFP members and $15 for
non-members. Registration includes lunch at 11:30 am; the program is from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
