Online resume writing workshop offered at Ivy Tech Library


LAFAYETTE, Ind — What information do potential
employers expect to find on résumés and what is the best way to use online job searching services, are two of the questions that will be addressed at an online resume writing workshop in the computer lab at the Tippecanoe County/Ivy Tech Library on January 20 at 6:30p.

Carol Santos from WorkOne in Lafayette will help participants learn to market work skills and prepare an online resume. Topics will also include: how to prepare your first résumé, ways to update an existing résumé, and how to follow up on applications.

No admission charged. Computer printer cards are available for $1.00. Due to high demand, advance registration is required. To register, stop by the information desks at any TCPL library or call 765-429-0113.
